It's a Boy!

Wow! This has been by far the longest pregnancy. But now as we are in the home stretch I am feeling optimistic that I will survive it! We had our ultrasound the beginning of December. Everyone wanted a girl, but that is not our pattern. We clearly go boy, boy, girl, boy, then start over with boy, boy, girl, boy. Knowing this pattern we have decided that if we have to have two more boys to get another girl, we may as well quit now!
Brad's first idea was to name him Henry, which I thought was great and so thoughtful of him being that my grandfather's middle name was Henry. But then he said, "you know, because he'll be the eighth." From then on, I couldn't get the song out of my head. So I think we'll give him Henry as a middle name. Still trying to decide on first names. Probably we'll go with something traditional like all the other boys.
Morning sickness, exhaustion, feelings of being completely overwhelmed and well, just being completely overwhelmed have made this a hard pregnancy. BUT, I am so grateful that the Lord really thinks we have what it takes to do this. Some days I really wonder, but I know that this is His plan for our family. I am learning a lot each day and am really looking forward to holding this sweet thing that is making me uncomfortable!
