Texas Tough Guys

This all started with my father Grandpa Gilman playing a game called Texas Tough Guys with the boys. This game mainly consists of beating up on Grandpa and calling each other by their Texas Tough names. Because we continue to have boys and now we actually live in Texas I guess this could be a good title for our family. Let me introduce you to everyone:
"Benny the Bull"
Ben turned 8 this year and has been so excited to join Cub Scouts. He is a great big brother and always does the right thing. He is in 3rd grade.

"Jake the Snake"Jacob just turned 7 and is in 1st grade. He's our whiz kid and can't wait to catch up with Ben in everything! We started calling him Jake the Snake at a young age and then found out that Jake the Snake of WWF fame is actually a Roberts also! Very exciting!

"Smackdown Princess"
Being the only girl in the family never stops her! She keeps up with all of them and keeps after them too! She is in Kindergarten and loves it! It is great to finally get the play by play of what happens at school. The boys seem to forget everything as soon as they step off the bus! I wouldn't say she's a tomboy, in fact she is pretty good at talking her brothers into playing ponies, princesses, etc.

"Eric the Earthquake"
Eric is 3 and will soon be 4. Eric loves breakfast and usually eats it 3 times before lunch. Probably because he never eats dinner, he's always starving by the time he wakes up. He is everyone's favorite playmate because he is so much fun!

"Tank"
Stephen also really likes breakfast, but prefers to get it for himself. He is the family bully and pushes all of us around. But we like it! He will be 2 next month!

"Samel the Camel"
Samel or Samuel as we sometimes call him is always fun. He really likes to make messes. Especially if it includes toilet paper, food, etc. He will be 1 next month and we can't believe there's not another one on the way! Maybe we'll let him be the baby of the family... at least for a while.

"Jerry the Berry"
The creator of it all... I'm not sure how tough a berry is, but in this picture I think he would be more appropriately named "Smackdown Princess" like Audrey. Love the crown!

Blah blah blah blogging...

I don't know if I can really pull this off. I am not a scrapbooker, creative, funny (okay, sometimes I'm funny), cute person. I look at other people's blogs and think that I just don't fit into this category. But... I continue to feel the peer pressure. I think that sometimes positive peer pressure can be a good thing, so we'll see how this turns out.
I do need to do better at documenting my family as they grow. And my are they growing fast! So here goes!
